That's it, you could always drill some holes in the butterfly one as well to prevent it from blocking it off completely I guess

looking at the buterfly one it would not be too hard to set some limit stops on the cable to prevent it closing too much, before i sold mine i was working on a dual back box system with one oem box on passenger side and adapt the driver side to a streight through box, using one of the electronic cut outs on a Y pipe i would run only through OEM box at low rpm and through both at high rpm (or when i wanted), was toying with using the differential pressure either side of the throttle body to trigger the valve. I had a spare oem exhaust and the programable pressure switch i just ran out of time

Can anyone recommend a supplier/manufacturer of a slience decat pipe?

My exhaust is to loud for trackdays so I need and extra silencer.

Thanks

James - what exhaust have you got that's too loud for track days?

I failed to find anyone in the UK that makes a silenced decat other than Dixon.

My issue with noise is no longer an issue as my neighbour has announced he is selling up - nothing to do with me but it explains why all of a sudden he was going on about noise - probably concerned that I will frighten off any one who is viewing

I hope for his sake he doesn't schedule any very early morning viewings.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!! My guess is he'll stick his house up for what the Estate agents say an it'll be on the market for 12 months minimum unless he drops it 10%! Oh well, good news.
