Default staggered wheels and offsets

I am having great difficulty find the right wheels for my car.
I know the guidelines on here state : they should be staggered with a cm difference and have an offset no less than + 45

My question is : will a staggared set with a difference of .5 cm be ok and do you agree with the minimum offset of +45 in order to prevent fender rolling and bad camber

Thanks

Not really any rules on the width of the wheels or the difference front to back as long as they're not stupidly wide or narrow.

Remember you can play with tyre widths too so if you have a 8" front wheel and a 8.5" rear you can still fit 215/245 tyres.

45 will require more than standard camber or rolling on the back if fitted with a 245 tyre.

Ok thanks , so what is the minimum offset I can have where I will have hardly any camber and no fender rolling ??

It will depend on the tyres a bit but I've got 2.5 degrees camber with et55 and 245/40/17 AD08 tyres which come quite wide.

There's maybe 2mm space between the tyre and the bumper tab, if I were to move that I think there's maybe another 5mm to the arch lip.

Just the oem 17s but with a 10mm spacer

Could look at the Enkei pf01 in s2000 fitment, decent offsets and they look quite nice too. There's a discount on them in the traders bit from MeisterR
