Stability control system

Stability control system
Is there a magazine write up with a test of the S2 with stability control fitted?
I know it's gay, but I really fancy an effective SC system on an S2.

Give one a spin yourself - if you can! That's the best way to judge.
Personally, in the dry its always off for me, and vice versa in the wet. The car feels just that bit smoother with it switched off under normal driving. Maybe that's just wishful thinking?!
What I can say is that the VSA doesn't feel as intrusive as other such control systems, i.e. I have had to push relatively hard in comparison to other cars with stability management when coming off roundabouts for it to engage.
I quite like the option.

it was on the car when i bought it from redhill honda - it was a plus for me as i my girlfriend enjoys driving her mx5 hard and i wanted to switch this on when she used the s (fearful that out of junctions in the wet she would gun it tlike the mazda). After a 18 months of owning I have really enjoyed experimenting with it on 10% - 30% slip settings. Also, i have realised that racelogic are very respectible manufacturers of traction contol systems on astons, lotus etc etc.
In the dry you dont really need it but (i drive 18k per year) in the wet and ice it is excellent. Good fun round big roundabouts and familar curves etc etc when im pushing hard. the controls sit in the centre storage cosole. Heres the website - loads of goo tech on whats possible etc (you can plug it into a laptop and set it up in many ways) http://www.racelogic.co.uk/

There is nothing gay about traction control. In the main anything that is likely to keep you going forward if you get it wrong is a good thing, it may flatter poor driving but in all honesty when you're on the road with other people traction control can only be a good thing, especially in the wet.
You cannot retro fit Honda VSA to any cars but racelogic is supposed to be very good, if the S2k was staying I would have fit it already.
We are not all as good as the Stig or Tiff Needell and TC is there to protect us from our own egos.
