Still trying to get used to the new layout here

I will take some pictures of the bearings that came out of the gearbox and get them posted up. The car is great now and the new clutch was well worth it.
Total cost app £937 That was for removal of gearbox, stripping gearbox, refitting gearbox. 7k service. Fitting of the clutch and the other little jobs like greasing the clutch fork?? and clearing out the metal filings and a new brake caliper bought and fitted

I can see my write up will be very technical when I get round to doing it

Good to hear your got it sorted pip, how many miles has your s covered?

Mine whines like hell and she's on 91k , but I can't work out if it's the clutch or the gearbox, I wonder if there's any way of checking? I do have the original buzzing clutch :s

Resurrection! The amount of us that have this whine, you did 90% of the work diagnosing it for us but pics etc would have been a super way to end it!! Doh!
