PJD, I was in town stopped at the lights on a kind of ring road that goes around in a tight horse shoe shape, the cop car came out of a junction to my right whilst I was waiting and then pulled in and waited for the lights to change before following me and pulling me in.

He complined that the ANPR couldnt pick up the plate because it was 'rediculously small' in his opinion (even though I've seen plates on GTR's and Pulsars 1/4 of the size of mine). The thing is the angle he was at when he was at his junction compared to where I was at the lights must have meant that his ANPR reader was at about an 80 degree angle to the front of the car so can't really see how it could have read it in the first place even if it was full sized....he'd also checked me out using the ANPR as he knew I was taxed and insured before I even said anything. Anyway, he had the last word at the end of the day.

Jayboy, They've had a refurb last month at Pristine Alloys in MK. I went for sparkle silver and diamond cut as I said I wanted them as shiny as possible! Love your avatar by the way with the colour of the sky and the tail light

I can only get so many of your pics to download but the ones I can see are braw! your plate doesn't look that small, what size is it actually?
I have a cut down plate and it measures 15"x4 3/8", although my reg only has 6 digits and the font is only slightly smaller than standard (it's motorcycle size) I so far have had no bother, in fact pretty sure that plate was on the last car and passed a mot with it on.

Love 'braw' martin, even if I did have to look it up, nearly as good as 'sun splitting the trees'.

Think Pristine Alloys chose their name well.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys

PHo, Brecon has some awesomedriving roads and places for car pics! You should get on the A4069 from Llandovery to Brynaman or Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen. All I can say is that it's IMMENSE! They used it a lot in Top Gear its that good so If you've not done it before make sure you do on a nice sunny day this summer!
