Default Springfield Honda Tynemouth

I need a 45k service and Springfield is my nearest dealer. I know that Springfield Newcastle don't get a good review, but how does Tynemouth do? It's not in the dealer satisfaction survey. It's only a small service and at

Mate uses them for his Jazz, the best staff from Springfield in Stoddart street went there (apart from Pam the receptionist!).

Trick with Springfield for me was getting to know them personally and telling them exactly what I wanted.

Then I would leave the mechanic who was working n my car a letter detailing what I was expecting, leave locking nuts on seat if required & the service book to stamp, tell them all the finest details. They then know your a fanny but I found every bit of work they did on my car met all my expectations.........

I wouldn't let them touch my car. But then I've had bad service from Stoddart St, Low Fell, Scotswood. I know friends with problems with Durham and I've heard bad things about Sunderland.

They knew I was fastidious but that just seemed to make them more incompetent (if that was possible!)

Nick, why aren't you signed up for the NE Jock Meet?

Bassoctopus - I'll have to check the thread and the dates!

In an ideal world I wouldn't take it to any of the Springfield dealers, but needs must. It's already overdue and I don't want to wait any longer. The car itself is over-serviced. It was serviced at around 41,000. It's on 47,000 miles now. I just want to get it on track with the dealer handbook for when I sell it (not for a long time yet!). As it's only a small service and not a large on I thought I might as well get it done there! Deffo not getting the 54,000 there though!!!!

Nick.

Springfield Sunderland has (or used to have) an official HUK S2000 expert there. Probably the best bet to use that one if you must.

And on the meet - Recce meet tomorrow starting at Bamburgh 11am. Full meet June 30th and July 1st.

Afternoon all. I had nothing but problems with the Sunderland branch, but the Durham branch used to bend over backwards to help. Just my opinion though.
