spring install
I have just taken out my front suspension to swap the OEM spring with a progressive spring.
I have manage to take the OEM spring out, and after swapping the spring, currently im trying to reinstall it back into the car.
I am having a bit of a problem atm as the top mount of the damper doesnt align to the bottom of the damper. Hence i cant fit it back onto the lower arm.
any ideas?

Grease and turn.
the tophat should rotate in order to allow you to line the fork up.
If you are still having problems, do it with the spring compressors still attached as this will relieve all compression/friction on the top hat.

The length of the damper is rather long to fit back between the lower arm and the upper arm position.
you recond i should remove the bolt for the sway bar so the lower arm will drop hence provide enough space for the damper to go in?
obvisous once the damper is in and car drop down to allow touque the bolts on the upper arm position, i will need to jack up the car again and re-fit the sway bar.

The drop links on the ARB can be a pain in the ass to get off. You need a 5mm Allen Key inserted into the bolt to stop it rotating (same as the tops of the OEM suspension)
A new drop link is around
