I remember reading about the cooling plate that it does the exact opposite of what it is supposed to do. It sucks hot air from the radiator and blows it in the intake, thus making things worse.
On the other hand, the snorkle guides cold air in the intake.

If I remember well it was StevenM (eSeM) who had said.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
