Spoon Rad cap
Okay i have seen a spoon rad cap on ebay, not sure if its genuine
Since im about to install my greddy ECU, i "think" the spoon rad cap maybe of benefit as it increases the pressure on the coolant and hence increases its boiling point.
Whadda ya think?

Why would an increased coolant boiling point be of any benefit to you? Are you planning to run the engine at a higher temparture? Are you planning to fit a thermostat that opens later etc?
Just because it has Spoon written on it doesn't mean its going to give any sort of real world performance improvement unless you think about what it does and why you would want it.

The spoon rad cap or any other aftermarket cap won't do any difference. You need a low temperature thermostat as well and a fun switch. This is the whole cooling kit which you can complete it with an aftermarket radiator like KOYO.
In the temperatures you are living, if you are not planning to turbocharge or supercharge your car,i believe it is waste of money any of these mods

I use a Spoon rad cap.
Only one I could find to fit my radiator. Type 'C' IIRC.

I have the rad cap, the rad, and the thermostat.
My rad fans are controlled by the AEM.
But then I have a massive heat source bolted to the block ..

Which is why i ask beforehand on here, "most" of the time i take in information/views that i read on here and make decisions based on that information.
keep asking. Asking questions hopefully prevents broken engines
