Spoon race car!
Saturday I was invited to a RR day with the Civic forum
(more sorta just turned up TBH!!)
It started at a RR day in Salisbury, a 300bhp Civic was the major car of the day (@flywheel Jackson s/c!!) . Then we all went on to Alan Day winchester for a Spoon open day, which included a real Spoon Brit car CTR, CW racing Spoon DC5 and a racing Spoon S2000.
Lots of friendly Honda folk there too chat too and Alan Day were also doing trying before you buy on spoon bits too!!!
Thanks too Stuart@alanday!! (Spoon Parts Manager!!)
Some photos :-
Oh and clicky HERE for my Cars RR video (6.7mb)

Oh and my Car managed 241bhp on the rollers! Thats with only 1300 miles on it and a Spoon N1 Kit on!

Is that 241bhp esimated at the crank? What was your peak bhp at the wheels?
Interesitng that the spoon S2000 appears to be running on Mugen wheels, or hae they ripped off the design?

I thought that about the wheels too! I think I remembered seeing a Volks badge on them IIRC!!
155lbft @7200 & 241bhp @ 8544rpm (193bhp @wheels)

i wish spoon would make a nice lightweight double exhaust rather than that pea-shooter that they sell!
i know it's a really good exhaust but i think a single exit just really detracts from the looks of the car. i'm an aesthetic whore

Perhaps they are bronze Volk CE28Ns on the S2000 then? Not good offsets for brake calipers though??
