removing bits isn't easy - there are often holes to fill or unpainted areas.
The Mugen wing can be replaced with the small OEM wing ...... it uses the same holes for fitting.

The thing that would worry me is:

SPOON ECU

Steven may be referring to radron's car, whose engine went pop whilst running the Spoon ECU.

Honda refused to cover it under warranty, blaming the modded ECU, even though there appeared to be a strong argument to say it played no part in the incident.

I seem to remember Ron obtained a report from Barwell Motorsport, the mob who do the race preparation for the Honda TOCA team. Can't remember exactly what it said but memory suggests that it was broadly supportive of this claim that the ECU had had nothing to do with the engine failure.

He may also have bought the ECU second-hand so didn't really have much recourse against whoever had ultimately supplied it.

I kind of know this car, seen it around my way a few times. (live near Maidstone)

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry5013726

The wife saw it at the super market and said she really liked it, mmm a second 'racey' S in the family.

Might give the guy a call and go and have a look, ask a few questions
From the pics he posted of it i think i worked out where the guy lives and I just found it useing Google earth! Well i went to the close/road I thought it was and one of the houses had a Bright Yellow convertibles parked in the drive... got to be it i guess.

Small matter of (a) selling the S first and (b) even then arguably having insufficient pennies and an unwillingness to take on further debt, Ron!

Congratulations. Any pics of the 996? How much and where from...? Not sold on 911 cabs at all, so I'd have to forego the drop-top and go for a coupe.

Ruckus, report back in if you go and have a look at this yellow beastie! Either he's desperate to offload and willing to take a bath on recovering the cost of the mods or something is not quite what it seems to be!
