Default Spoon EC or J's ECU

Hi all

Im looking for information on a Spoon sports ECU for an AP1, my car is a japanese model and there is a speed limiter on it so i want that lifted, so i have some questions about it
1. Will the new ECU lift the speed limit in the car
2. Will the new ECU work with the orignal imobeliser on my car
3. Will my keys work or will i have have to get new keys programed to the new ECU
4. Will all other car funtions work normal
5. In the future if i fit after market headers and exhaust how will the new ECU manage

The Spoon ECU has no immobiliser and the immobilser is in the ECU that you will be removing.

I own a spoon ECU along with other owners.

1. pretty sure it wont, could be wrong
2. JDM version doesnt have an immboliser to begin with something to do about the law in japan??? that why you have to wire in for UK cars doesnt have the chip on the ECU.
3. Your keys will work
4. yes retains feature will work normal.
5. Dont know what you mean by that???

5. Ecu will work better with breathing mods, just be sure to re-set it on every mod you make

I'm not to sure I changing the ECU will lift a speed limiter but the hks SLD will and so will an Apexi RSM I believe.I got my delimiter today in the post So hopefully I'll have it in by the weekend then it will be off to a private test track I know up north for a little test session
