Maybe Southern Counties could get together with Motorsports events to sort something out?????
This is kinda what I was inferring but I think an open pitlane event would be preferable

Open pitlane would better suit everyone.

MSE can supply a range of cars for people to drive too, but that does push the cost way up. (But wait, SC and David are paying... bring on the cars then )

David,

Carting last year was a great day out!. Would either like to see the same again or something driver-oriented (eg. track style day or car "experience" related). However, would need to cover a reasonable spread of skills as many of us have not dabbled with tracks (yet!).

Can't argue with that one

Scov - Kart day last year was a giggle, although can we use something a bit more powerful next time ? Pro-karts are OK but, the weight disadvantage for the 'sturdier' driver is massive ! Could do a Club 100 or Thunderkart event at Buckmore Park.

Or - airfield day with Motorsport Events is a great idea, the could link up with Honda revolutions etc, to have an open pit lane

Also, academy days are good, but a lot of us have completed these already.

Cheers
Rich

Some observations:

Buckmore Park is a possibility.

So is a Carp fishing intro course and 24hr competition in N France with Southern-Honda.co.uk badged boilies in pineapple and coconut flavours. Naturally the lake would be drained beforehand so that we can signwrite the fish.

The costings for a track day with exotic cars would be
