SC sponsored? sounds good. That means SC pay for it, right?

Serious question - Does a company connected individual (ie commercially connected interest) have to pay more to use this site for free advertising of his products, when his products happen to be cars?

If they were to become a paying sponsor of s2ki.com through cthree, yes, on regional forums it is the decision of the CO's to allow it or not... stay tuned for more info

Serious answer............I see where you are coming from CC, but is what we are looking at here symbiosis rather than out and out parasitism????

Sure scov uses this site to raise the profile and improve the image of Southern Counties Honda. But I dont see any hard sell / overt advertising. I see offers of good deals on new S2000's (some of which I understand have materialised) and the arrangement and (at least) partial sponsorship of events for us

This sounds to me like a perfectly reasonable 'you scratch my back and i'll scratch yours' type deal - I would have thought that you of all people would welcome and encourage this?

As for sensible ideas for events that scov could help set up for us.........I like Ian's idea of a trip to BAR, though I imagine numbers would be severely limited.

Or how about a Motorsports Events style Academy Day?? - I found the one I did last year very educational and great fun. Maybe Southern Counties could get together with Motorsports events to sort something out?????
