as I maybe mentioned in a previous post, I've gotten myself involved with one of the race teams (team 11) in the SCSA series which runs at Rockingham on the 1st Sunday of everything month from May thru Oct.

Days of thunder

Last time out we had a great car (both in terms of lap times and to look at!) which, although qualifying towards the back of the grid due to a setup problem, was turning very competitive lap times in pre-race practice. Unfortunately the driver had a 'coming together' with another car in the first race (a slightly opportunist move imho!) and the car ended up in the wall and was too badly damaged to put out in the 2nd race.

Anyway....the car is currently being repaired and repainted for the last two races of the season, next w/e. The team have found a driver for the w/e who is very competitive and has previous experience in SCSA.

Sounds cool, see how far out they need to know about the parade around the oval and then organise it as a meet!
