Default Special Offer on Castrol oil at Halfords

I wouldn't normally recommend Halfrauds but came across THIS deal on the Halfords web site. Buy 4 litres of any Castrol oil and get a free 30 piece screwdriver set worth £39.99. And before you ask, Edge Diesel 5W 40 is £39.99 for 4 litres LINK.

I've got that screwdriver set, it's pretty good

I wonder if you buy the oil on the Halfords Trade card whether you still get the screwdrivers

Good post/find esp if you need some straight away though you can get it cheaper on ebay from Matt Lewis.

I dont think the screwdriver kit is worth 20 quid

The manual states 4.8 litres IIRC but in reality me along with others find its more along the lines of 5 litres.

I changed my oil in October and i think it was 'just' shy of 5 litres.

I don't know how these people manage to use 4.8 litres, because I've always used 5.5.

Could do with some screwdrivers. Hmmm.

I'm sure I've used more in the past possibly because I've let every drop drain out as I've been sidetracked by other jobs on the car (dont take a great deal of notice on amount), but i just fill it until its upto the correct level.
