I have had my spark plugs recently changed car has full Honda history and is maintained meticulously! I usually do long ish runs but only use the car a couple of times a week. Anyway I drove my car the other day and my V-TEC is totally flat have I got the wrong plugs fitted I went with NGK iridiums which I now believe after reading on the internet the car wasn't specced with and this could be causing my problem. Oil fine and good colour as well. If anyone can help I would appreciate it so I can get this fixed, am I causing the car any damage by using it?

Sometimes a plug change can highlight a coil that might be on its way out - I'd try checking/closing the gaps a bit to see if it has any effect.

 

Did you check the spark plug gaps when fitting new ones ?

 

That's very helpful I am having the same problems as the chap on the other thread I had Honda fit them. So I can only hope they did, will get them to check thanks again!
