My many Fiats never blew fuses.

I don't think the current ever got as far as the fusebox!

My Alfa 33 had an uncanny knack of being able to draw enough current whilst turned off to drain its battery in about 9 hours..... that never blew a fuse either (I'm not sure they ever got that far when designing the electrics!!)

I've had several cases of melting light switches, which is smelly and frightening if the headlights go out at 60 in an unlit country road!

The fuses still didn't blow.
