Pretty anal I know but I went to Halfords the other day and picked up a varied mix of spare fuses which I now keep with the OEM tools under the carpet in the boot. I know there are spare fuses provided in some of the fuse boxes, but there's far from enough to cover all possibilities. Whilst I haven't had a fuse blow yet, I would hate to have real problems in the middle of nowhere for the sake of a spare fuse.

Anyway, the real reason, I'm posting is that I picked up a very nice clear plastic box of mixed fuses from Halfords of the standard colour coded bayonet type. NO GOOD !!!

I had to take them back as the type used throughout the S2000 is much smaller! At first Halfords thought they couldn't help me with the right size fuses but they do keep them by the audio hi-fi section as they appear to be the type used in ICE systems!!

Bear in mind if buying fuses!

Aren't there some space fuses in the box? (I haven't looked recently.)

Also, if you're wanting spares are all the fuses the same size - I'm curious if it's just the interior fuse box that uses the small fuses, not the under bonnet fuse.

I'd pop out and look, but the my S2000 is under >1" of snow.

'There will not be much snow this year...'

As I said Brian there's only a couple of spare fuses in the box. The only fuse box I've looked at is the one under the bonnet, or rather the main (larger) one. They're all the smaller ones!

Tonky, you must be a boy scout from way back to be prepared like that. I've only needed extra fuses, aside from the spares already on the car, for when I've been doing electronic installs. Never fails - KERZZZZAPP!
Merry Christmas, Cedric!

I had an ICE girlfriend once. I also had an Ice Princess girlfriend once...

I also made the same mistake the first time I went fuse buying.
