ok,
get your ear near the crank case as the car starts (cold), if you hear a clatter from that region then its the timing chain tensioner.
suposidly the most common cause of F20c failures.
Vauxhall and clatter so whats new!!!

I think AE had this Hopefully he will be along soon. Mine rattles a bit when cold. I believe its a bit of a Honda trait but they do loosen and I think there is something which can be adjusted.
I'd say mine was 'a bit tappety' but I expect they have been superceded !!
