was not me ! right taken on by my legal policy its gone to there dedicated repair centre "Milton keynes motor company " who will call me too arange me delivering my car and collecting a 'like for like ' vehicle during the repair. Im told that im in no way going to have to pay either the excess or the cost of repair / hire and thats what the legal cover on my policy 'will' cover should they not recover the cost of repair from the 3rd party.

thanks for your help chaps , just got the stressfull job of getting it there / back / done properly!!!

Cool, make sure you get it in writing and read the terms very carefully. Umski's post above is a good warning. There is a chance she will say you cut her up.

claim for whiplash she hit the rear of you! thats driving without due care and attention as it is reasonable to expect her to stop and not hit the back of you.

I had the same tripe from norwich union... its liekly that you wil be held responsable ..... told them no, was firm argued with my own insurence company for over 30 mins, told them to use my legal cover and the RAC provided this and won the case. Never been insured withe them again, what is clear is that it was cheeper to settle than the legal expense incured in handling the case.

Dont be bullied!!

Steve, RTFT...

You put all that effort in. Draft the letter, produce the diagram, and along comes some pillock who just skim reads the thread.

It's enough to make you weep ...
