Default Someone explain to me

In the Mail on Sunday today, there is an advert for a car which starts off saying

'Most people fall in love in 4.7 seconds'

Below this is a picture of a Jaguar Xtype 2.2 Performance Diesel.

Underneath this it says:

'Jaguar Xtype 2.2 Performance Diesel
From 50-70mph in 4.7 seconds'

What's the point? Do they think people are that stupid?

have you seen some of the jag drivers san? most are farmers playing with sheep all day so falling in love for them is very quick and easy so i am told. just ask a jag driver yourself.

Probably true. I just don't get why anybody would fall for '4.7 seconds from 50-70'

San because a large amount of people will percieve this to be an impressive figure and be suckered in.
