Someone did a hit and run on my S2000 :(

With damage like that my money would be on a drink driver!
As for parts here is a quick list for you
Passenger door https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-S20...8AAOSwCMRcm27c
passenger wing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-S20...QAAOSwCg9dScQ~
Then you need it all painting and the rear dings sorted out. I wouldnt go via honda. The front wing is easy to swap, the door will be fiddly removing all your parts and refitting but its doable with abit of time. Then just get the whole side painted to match the rest of the car. Thats going to be the expensive bit but a good bodyshop should be able to get a decent match.

insurer would write that off i think. how many miles on it?
a new door and wing are pricey new (for insurer)
the rear 1/4 is a difficult repair
paint where you will need to blend on bonnet, bumper, boot and rear bumper plus paint the damaged panels i think would be £1.5k+
when it gets to 40pc of car value or so dont they just call it a day and send it to salvage? which could be you btw.
what a bastad bud.. gutted for you. perhaps a lorry?

I expect the insurance company will ask you to get two or three quotes from different bodyshops. If it were me, here is what I would probably do:
Ask around, and find two sorts of bodyshop. The first is the one you want to do the job, the second is the most expensive (which might be Honda).
Get the quotes, one of which might (if you're lucky) might be both the cheapest and the shop you want to do the work. If not the car maybe be written off against the higher quotes, depending on age, costs etc. Then, consider buying back the car as salvage and then taking to your preferred bodyshop, now with enough cash from the payout (less salvage value, of course) to get a really good job done. That's the best way I can see of keeping the car and getting it repaired.
If there's any money left over in the pot rent a garage...

Gutted for you. . It would comfort me to believe in karma in the universe, in that something very unpleasant is going to happen to the f**ker that did that. It amazes me that with all the CCTV in London that nothing was recorded, even leaving the scene. A dent like that surely would have left some similar damage on the vehicle that hit it.
Hope it all gets sorted to your satisfaction and you'll be back on the road again soon.

Gutted for you.
Biggest cost may be the A pillar. It’s pushed the door backwards, so has it pulled the hinges and the A pillar backwards as well, or just the door skin.

I would say I'm shocked, but unfortunately having had 2 people drive over previous cars of mine I'm not at all. It's beyond a joke. I'm taking no chances with my S2K and trying to keep it as far out the way as possible.
I would be fairly worried the insurance company will just write that off.

74k on the clock.
What I don't understand - is if the insurance company deem it a write-off, can I not just ignore the claim and then pay for the repairs myself? I.e. keep my no-claims and pay the £1.5k hit, so it doesn't have to be salvaged?

And thanks for everyone for the kinds words. Unfortunately I doubt the f**ker will ever be caught, or will admit to fault, so it ends up me the innocent guy taking the hit. The world can be a really cruel place sometimes (first world problems, I know).
