Default Solved my wind problem!

After experiencing wind noise at certain speeds i went about trying to fix the problem. I narrowed it down to the striker plates thanks to information sourced from this site. Initially I thought the plates would have to be replaced but on closer examination I discovered that the drivers side plate was very loose. So following the instructions in the FAQ I removed the trim to discover that one of the screws holding the plate had come away, after replacing the screw I went for a blast down the road only to have the sweet noise of VTECness in my ears and no wind noise! Result! Hopefully tightening up the plate will have cured the water leak problem, only time will tell!

Result!

Make sure you lube your seals, while you're at it!

Nah,

Get an aresole of Holts rubber & nylon lubricant from your motor factor.

Cheaper, less messy & better.

I've just brought an aerosol of silicone lubricant after my local Honda Stealership had none of the elusive Shin-Etsu in stock. I was just wondering by what means of application shall I use? Should I spray over the seals or should I apply with a cloth? Or are there any other methods? Ideas would be appreciated thanks!
