when you lower your top there is a bar in the middle of your top that is suppose to fall back on its own ... in the cold weather it doesnt fall back very easy but as you are putting your top back push the bar back with your hand .. it will go down with no problems... my car has the same problems .... also check out the elastic straps in the above post
