Default Soft top not lowering completely

Hi! All

Last week, I took the S back to the dealer for a few adjustments:
New front head light
Rattling soft top

The staff were very friendly, annoying rattling had stopped and they even gave the S a good clean before returning it to me so I left happy

The following day I dropped the roof and it was fine Yesterday my brother tried to drop the roof it didn't seem to go all the way down, it just doesn't sit right?!

Not sure if this has something to do with the cold weather or it's being temperamental. Do I take it back to the dealer to check over again!? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

try raising the top and lowering it a few time.
cold weather + car washes tend to make to soft top a little tight at times.

When my soft top wouldn't lower all the way down, I got a fellow board member, Derekbuck to lean on it. That solved the problem pronto!

Seriously though, it may just have been the cold weather?

Thanks! sebrings2k

I've tried that but then it just gets a little embarrassing so I give up.

Mmmm...maybe I'm being a little overly sensitive then.

Will check it again when I get home tonight.

Thanks, guys.

Mine did that all the time in the cold...just do what people have already said - put it up and down a few times and you should find that on the third of fourth go it will sit just right.

At first the heater thing used to work for me - but then stopped so I had to keep putting it up and down....a little embarassing - especially when you forget and drop the roof at the traffic lights !!
