Soft Top Insurance
Rather than add to one of the existing Insurance threads, may I pose a specific question?
My S2K insurance is with Zenith, via AA, being effectively a transfer of my previous Legend insurance. The premium is reasonable

I don't have my policy with at present to check, but I'm pretty sure that there are no specific exclusions in my Tesco policy which would limit or exclude liability for damage to the soft top.
I didn't have any clause to that effect in my previous policy with Privilege when I insured an MX5 either.

I have just insured with Tesco and read the conditions; it's insured as a convertible and there is no soft-top damage exclusion.
Seems pretty stupid to offer cover for a convertible and then exclude the top. Bit like insuring a camera and excluding the lens
