Default Soft top cleaning problem

Am just getting round to doing checks on my latest S, only had it a few days so cleaning it, changing oils etc and on the soft top (blue) someone has put what looks like blue colour wax on it and not very well, its probably car body wax !

Am using a soft top cleaner but doesnt seem to be havong much effect.

Can anyone recommend something better?

better posting in wash and wax, but you will need to use a strong ragtop cleaner with a nail brush leave it to soak in with warm water and work the nail brush into it, or try these

A Cheap method is to shampoo it, rinse, then apply a solution of Milton sterilizing solution. leave to dwell for 15 minutes and aggitate during this time with a soft nail brush. Rinse off and leave to dry. Inspect the roof for any residiual contamination, repeat if necessary.

The other way is more effective...use Renovo fabric roof cleaner. Vacuum the fabric, shampoo, rinse then leave until almost dry. Apply the cleaner using warm water, aggitate with a soft nail brush and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse off with an open ended hose and leave to dry.

seeing as the roof is vinyl, a good APC (all purpose cleaner) and nail brush should get it off, there are dedicated wax removers available but tbh they are a waste.

Tar remover will remove wax very fast. Check if its too aggressive for the hood though.

As the wheels are black and the exhaust tips are black I woundn't be surprised if someone had tried to make the roof black, dunno

have a look underneath the parts that surround the rear window, check they are blue aswell? Might just be the pics but the first picture definately looks a bit suspect?
