Its a difrent car, my s2000 was a 1999 with 97k which was my early 30's fun car, the 996 has been a dream for about 6 years and I'll probably keep it into my late 40's

I didnt buy the boxter because the S2000 is a better car ( imo )

Servicing costs are pretty reasonable actualy £180 for a minor and £280 and £380 for the 24k and 46k majors. one service every 12k or year whichever comes first tax is £40 a year more.

Its a 4wd with about 120 more horses than the honda, I didnt get the convertable as I dont like the look of it and "chopped" hard tops always have some scuttle shake.

I also have some random S2000 parts including a very scruffy 16 inch wheel with tyre that are going begging, I'll dig them out of the garage get some pics, free to whoever wants them, I'll need to do a thread in general as I cant post in for sale hopefully the mods wont bin it as I'm giving the stuff away.

p.s

my s2000 before she went

I've driven one rather like that, probably. You have to be going rather quick before it all comes together and then it's quite fun. Good cruiser.

Congrats on getting your 'dream' car - hope it works out well.

Enjoy the 911 - I made the same move.

Every time I drive it I can't quite believe I have one and you'll find every journey a special event.

Good luck with it.
