Default Snow foam

Probably in the wrong place (mods please move if so, and apologies)

Got myself a karcher snowfoam lance head and some demon shine snowfoam for £20 the other week. Now that the Demon shine has run out, I'm looking for a replacement foam.

What are we all using, and how thick does it end up getting?

Autobrite Magifoam. Sign up to detailing world and there's a discount code you can use direct with Autobrite when you place your order.

For £46 I had 6L of foam, a lance and a pump for the 5L bottle. They also threw in some Purple Rain wheel cleaner and a 500ml tester of their shampoo too!

The lance has a brass head and attachment on it so is a lot better quality than the snow foam bottle I got for free with my Nilfisk pressure washer.

If you don't want all the kit they do deals on just the snow foam too.

I use Cleanyourcar's own brand atm, did use valet pro's ph neutral foam but tbh as long as its thick enough it doesn't really matter, unless you are really anal about your cleanliness it's not a necessary step, more show than go.

It takes wax off? Is it that strong?!
I've got about 10 layers of wax / sealant on it, so not too keen on having it all stripped off each time I wash my car!!

No, it doesn't. It specifically says its formulated not to do that and clearly states its LSP safe (Last Stage Protection/Product)! Their purple rain wheel cleaner is non corrosive too and works a treat. Turns a nice purple when it's ready to rinse off!

Autobrite Magifoam

Owning a black car, if it took my glazes, sealants and waxes off then there is no way I'd use it!
