Default Snorkles & Insurance

I am thinking of getting a snorkle from Muz and was wondering what experience you guys have about insurance.

Obviously its no performance gain so I assume its no cost, however I am sure they will try to charge - should I argue.

By the way, I am insured with Admiral.

Thoughts welcome

Snorkels - I know those things!

Muz took the rights for the Aus one. There is a history of poor fits with both, usally due to manufactring "comlications" in the fibreglass
My last car had a Spoon carbon fibre snorkel on it, very good finish and fit.
There is a guy in Hong Kong who does a replica that seems to be very good. (did a group buy and appears on ebay)

Can't recall any others.

I would argue the toss that it does not increase power, simply stops it kangarooing in traffic and a junctions. A safety feature then

since the oem airbox doesn't actually come off of the car my conscience allows my spoon snorkle to bypass the insurance problem.

similar to my oem front & rear spoilers

I declared mine, no increase on the premium as non-performance enhancing.
