Hi LB,
I've been interested in these devices for a few weeks now.
Are you going to fit it yourself or get a mechanic to fit it up for you? I'd be interested in how easy/difficult it is and/or costs.
Also, reading up on the SLD920 blurb, where exactly and how will the two optical sensors be fitted?
Would love to see some pics once it's been fitted.

Looks good - possibly the perfect compliment to my BEL 550. Would you get in trouble if you left your car permanently "cloaked", even if you got a threat warning ?
Chasing after you just to see if you had one installed would probably be too much trouble ?

Hi Mark,
I hope to get round to fitting it this weekend - weather permitting!
The actual fitting of it doesn't look that complicated. I'm not going to attempt it myself - I'll give most DIY stuff a go, but electrics I steer clear of. I know someone who's a bit of a whizz with car electrics and he has said he'll do it (for a pie and a pint!!), which is great as I can see what's going on with the car (and help!). I don't have to trust it to some stranger, or worse still a Honda dealer!!! Not sure how much you'd normally get charged for fitting something like this, but I would guess it would probably take about an hour to an hour and a half to do.
The two sensors screw on to the car and should fit in between the slats of the front grill. Will have a closer look tonight to decide exactly where.
Will post pics at the weekend after it's been fitted.

I'd very much like one of these too, I had no idea they are so inexpensive!
I'll add it to my wish list
