Smoke from exhaust

White smoke will be water, If you hardly use the car I would guess condensation builds up. You will get a puff when you pull off as it suddenly clears. Anything else could be a coolant leak into the engine.
If it's oil it will be blue, ignore the scaremongerers on here. Running oil to the minimum won't sudden make the engine fail.

okay. well i'll take it to honda over weekend to check anyway.
i am based in north london. might take it to chiswick honda un;less anyone else has a better sugestion?

mine does the same on start up for about 5 mins until it gets hot,just had it serviced by honda got 47k on it ,they gave it clean bill of health.i would not worry to much

All cars produce water vapour until the exhaust gets hot enough for it not to condense inside the pipe.
It's probably more noticeable with the S because it's got two far king great cans behind your arse.
The air is very damp at this time of year, which is where most of it comes from. Some is a by-product of the combustion process. Which is why more is produced when the engine is running slightly rich, because it's told to by the ECU when cold.
Have you never noticed vehicle exhaust smoke before?
