Went swimming with Amanda this morning.

We parked right outside the door to the pool and I said jokingly to our friend Mark who was working on the reception to keep an eye on my car 5 minutes later he comes to see me and tells me that someone has reversed into my car So I go and stand on the street with a towel on - brrr - and see that it's only a smashed front plate and tell the guy to leave his name and address with Mark at reception and I'll check the car out properly and send him the bill.

After I'd finished swimming I go and have a chat with Mark, who tells me that the guy hit my car so hard that he saw my car move - handbrake on, in first gear - and then tried to drive off Mark (also a car nut - owns a Scooby P1) jumped over the counter and started hammering on the guys window until he stopped and admitted to it.

TBH I probably wouldn't have been bothered, but the fact that the guy could easily have smashed my bumper and then driven off without stopping, really pisses me off.

Rant over.

BTW Should I stick with S200 ONL or go to S200ONL now that I need a new front plate?
Bad luck mate. This is why I never leave my S in any car park , or if I do its cos I have no choice. I cant bear the thought of someone doing this its so easy to do . Opening your door and dinging the other car is so easy its unreal. I did it a while back when I was in my S2000 and the other car was an S2000 too No damage though I checked it, I opened the door very gently.

These things happen, and it doesn't help that the S2000 is so long and low. Mistakes are easy to make, it's when people drive off without telling you that really pisses me off.
