£600 for the wheels but these won't be off until the car is stripped once the engine is sold.

"Should" and "must" are not synonyms. "Should" is a suggestion; "must" is a command.

Try to tax it, then MOT it, if all ok - insure it and drive it.

hate to see another written off.

Hi guys, I am several years late but this was my car. The car was in great running order but it was flooded (sewage) in a flash flood in London and was therefore written off. It was a sad day as I had it for seven years and toured Europe with my wife etc. It is a pity I did not see this thread earlier as I could have given more confidence to anyone buying parts from the car. Does anyone know if the engine is still running in another s2000? The engine was meticulously warmed up and would go oil changes without using any oil. I think this was quite rare for an S2000 motor...
Cheers
