Ran them on my old RX7 (~350bhp fly) with no problems, found them the same as the bridgestones which they replaced (when bridgestones were new that is, unfair to compare worn to new )

I went through a set in just over 6,000 miles on my S2000.
They are good tyres, even though they are cheap I went through a set a lot quicker than I would have liked.
Saying that, I have just bought another set of rears as the fronts are still perfect.
Falkon have stopped making the 452's and have replaced them with the 912's apparentaly. Pretty much the same just with a softer sidewall, so it says.

Running them now. No problems at all. Progressive break away and excellent summer performance. Fully ran in after approx 300-400 miles. First time I drove out of WIM with them on, is was hairy but after 2 tanks of fuel I noticed no difference to the RE050's on previous.
Wet weather grip is good. Snow - terrible. Ice - terrible. But I am fully aware they are not winter tyres.
Ran them on my old 340bhp STI and never had any issues there either.
I would get your Geo checked and pressures.

I've got them on mine, have had since November. I find them significantly grippier than the S02's that were removed to make way for them. I'll have no quarms about buying more next time around - especially at 87 each on the back.

Wow, Lots of replies and mostly saying they are good to excelent tyres.
Wear on the old ones were flat right across.
I take your points that the weather is cold and the roads damp and that they are summer tyres. So think I will stick with them (and hope they stick with the road) for now and await the warmer weather, hopefully they will get lots better.
Thanks again guys, you just saved me almost £300, and more iportantly a good earbashing from someone who shall remain nameless (but to quote her on the price of a holiday "Its only money").

In my experience 276 miles is not yet enough to 'bed' them in ... another hundred or so miles and they should reach their potential - I thought they were excellent tyres on the S.
