Default Slack at top of clutch pedal travel

As per title, I have a bit of slack travel at the top of the clutch pedal (probably only a couple of centimetres) - any idea if/how this can be adjusted out?

if you stick your head under the dash there are 2 bolts which you can adjust to remove the slack.
i did this last week, but cant remember the size of spanner you need sorry.

If you havn't already bleed the clutch first, if you adjust the play out then bleed it you may find you are riding the clutch.

Do a search for "clutch adjustment" (with quotes) loads of info.

^ as above. Recipie for a smooth clutch (unless it's FUBAR)

Remove slave, grease fork contact points, and recess for clutch pin ball, sand 'nipple' off pin ball if present, re fit all, bleed clutch, grab faithful assistant, put them under the car and have them feel the clutch slave pin and fork for movement, as for yourself; whilst you're in the footwell area loosen off 12mm lock nut above clutch pedal, and rotate interlinked bolt (also 12mm head) a little at a time until pedal slack is gone, and your faithful assistant registers clutch slave movement with just a sensible amount of pedal effort.

Not too little though, as you'll be 'riding' the clutch like others have said.

Bit of a thread dredge.

Also have about an inch of slack movement before I meet any resistance. Biting point is about half way.

Would it be a good idea to adjust it?

Ron done the clutch fork greasing and sanding for us at a previous meet.
