I had someone do that to me, only as a witness to say that the woman who pulled out into me was being a fool .
Good luck with sorting everything out.

Looks heavy!
Main thing is that you are okay, nothing else matters! Been through the same and worse and know exactly how it feels. You seem in good spirits which is good to hear

really sorry to hear about the car. don't forget the point of all of that heavy safety stuff is to keep you alive, which worked! take the insurance pay out and get another S2000 or something else as fun.
you'll feel rubbish for a while, but it'll pass! did you hit your head on the metal roof mechanism bars?

Depending on who you're insured with they might not let you buy it back. The breaker might just buy it off your insurance company and strip it for parts.

Hope you are OK mate! Always sucks to see someones pride and joy like that
On a positive note though you didnt hit the rear 1/4. You could get a new wing and door and get the sill jigged out and a new hub / lower suspension arm. Dont people think that damage could be repaired completely for £1500-2000 using used parts? Its only the sill thats the hard part!

Terrible news, but glad you're ok. Cat C at a guess but who cares, cars can get replaced etc and i'm sure you'll get another. You could buy back off the insurers if/when they write it off and source parts yourself?
