Nice resolution tbh, fair play to you UF. Also he has Nankang's on his car, i had a set on a Civic before for all of a week and they are terrible in the wet so its not surprising he slid with all the factors together.

All of this is lovely......if he sticks to his promise not to go through the insurers. Some people see the prospect of a personal injury payout and think it's worth the risk of involving the insurers and if he decides to blame you, this could all get messy. (Thankfully, you have taken some good photos)

If I were you, i'd be letting my insurers know you were involved in a (non-fault) accident and that the other driver has decided to pay for the repairs rather than going through his insurance.

Then, on the off chance it does come back to haunt you in 2 years time if he decides to make a claim, your insurers won't turn round and refuse to indemnify you for failing to report the accident to them.

Just my view.

He's only got TPFT insurance on it so i don't think there's much chance of a claim coming from that direction but it's a good point, i may mention it once i've paid for another 12 months insurance next month
