Oh dear. Looks like you were just a bystander. What the heck was he still doing in the middle of the road!, if he'd just come off the brakes he could have just steered right past you by the looks of it.

You dealt with t well though.

Cheers Nott and Gav .. pretty much. He was in the middle of the road becausee that's where he was when he started skidding. Young driver is all it is and 6 months past his L plates - we've ALL done it at that age

I'm almost 100% sure there's nothing wrong that wasn't already needing attention. It brakes, corners, steers accelerates eactly as it did before. I'll get the Geo checked / done when i get the castor bushes changed so not worried about that. I pulled the arch liner away and had a peek - everything is fine other than the dent and the missing paint.

Actually the bigger dilemma is what to do about the stonechips on the bonnet and the other wing

Having seen what insurance did to yours CJ, that was another good reason to keep mine out of their dirty hands!

You handled it very well UF , as a young person myself, and being in a similar situation last summer, when someone from my college had driven into the back of me at a zebra crossing. We decided to settle it without insurance. It saved us both a lot of money! I'm sure the Corsa driver is breathing a sigh of relief. Something tells me his insurance doesnt know the full extent of his modifications!

So you'll both be declaring the accident to your respective insurance companies, won't you

Glad no one was hurt.

Chris.
