want to buy the newer chrome skelton front and rear badges, but do they fit without a problem or do i need to get work done before ?

I've got a set that I'm still "getting around" to fitting.

They do stick on, hopefully the lug positions are the same on the old enclosed ones and the new skeleton ones, if not then the holes they leave may need filling.

Will hopefully do this on the weekend - will report back here as and when..

I remember aquila eagle doing his but cannot find the link but will be interested to see how you get on. dont really want to have to get bonnet resprayed just yet.

could do with a ride out to norfolk so if you dont mind a watcher or need a hand let me know.

where did you buy them or is it a honda only item, and the other thing is what year do you ask for unless you have the order numbers? cheers

Oh, "Skelton" is just a typo - I thought they might be like "Nickelson" badges or something.

There was a fashion for "S" badges and different-coloured backgrounds a few years back.

Just bear in mind that the skellies hold water and crap, which makes them a bugger to clean 'round.

Just replaced badge on front of my car, took 30mins.

Orig badge


badge removed. Lots of sticky pads, and the fixing holes are the same size/location as on the skeleton badge - phew!


cleaned all the crap off


new badge fitted.


I reckon it looks better like this anyway!
