Hmmmmmmm.....i could easily go into 'old git' mode here, but lets just say I had a different set of problems to this guy when I was 16!

Alan Clark - I understand - had a 6.5 litre Bentley when he was at Eton - followed at 17 by an SS100

I'm in that mode Ian, pretty scandalised at how easily these guys accept they are getting any car let alone an S2000 or other

to have any possible car that actually had 4 wheels that turned - was MOT'd taxed and insured was a dream that only a few people could aspire to at my comp.

My friends had clapped out Viva's and Escorts - I was lucky to get a ride - let alone own something!!

I guess that in US - an S2000 is no big deal - hence the numbers sold compared to UK. Insurance is cheap, petrol costs nothing - so once you get over the hurdle of $30,000 - it's a breeze for a school kid with a paper round.

Imagine doing your paper round in an S2000.
