Wont Fairy damage your paint? Aren't we told to never wash cars with washing up liquid?

Fairy removes all polish and wax - you should always wash with fairy when doing a totally new application, and before claybar

PPS: Carper, I know that my painted calipers look cr@p

Chris!

Since when do they look crap??
I was considering painting mine very soon with Foliatec caliper lacquer. Have used this before and it works and looks well.
If you are re-painting what colour do you think will suit?

Its got to be either SILVER or RED

I bow to your superior knowledge AE. It would worry me though taking fairy to my p&j. No bottle I guess ;-)

The local fire service do a 50p charity car wash annually and they use Fairy Liquid. The cars come out gleaming!! I don't think it does any harm beyond removing all previous wax etc..
