Side indicator hanging off!
Thought I heard a bit of rattling today and there it was ... my passenger side indicator dangling from a hole!
Doesn't look as if anything is broken, but it won't stay put. Looks as if some "goo" needs to be applied. Any ideas what I might pick up from Halfords?

I got some black silicone/sealant stuff from Halfords a few weeks back. I can't remember what for now, but something like that should do the trick.
Seems odd that it's just 'popped' out. From what I recall when I fitted my smoked indicators, they were very snug fitting in the hole.

I find that whenever I remove a side indicator for any reason, they're often not as good a fit as they first were. I'm just guessing, but I think the plastic clips lose their spring over time. Whenever I've had this problem I've put a small dab of clear silicon sealant under them. They wont budge but they're easy to remove when you need to, and there's no damage to the paintwork.

Bought some clear sealant yesterday and all is well.
Good to see that Lisa's Ann Summers "black stuff" comes in handy for the car too ...
