Not at all. Why would you make that assumption? I don't check the time at all whilst I'm driving, mainly because I very rarely need to know the time in those instances. I'm not going to drive any faster or slower depending on what the time is, so why would I bother?

AFAIK it is illegal to pick up a handheld mobile device in a car, whether moving or stationary, unless in an emergency situation and unable to pull over safely. Not sure how strictly it would be enforced if you were sat at traffic lights, or whether you would even be seen, but there you go.

Could always buy a newer S2000 - mine's got a clock and a temperature gauge in it

The lack of clock in the S has never really bothered me as its not my everyday car so i just make do with looking on my wrist!!

Why do you want to know what time it is? if you can't be bothered to wear a watch how do you tell the time when your not in your car and you don't have a mobile phone.What about an Ipod they have a clock!
