I had a great arguement with a colleague the other day...... he has a TT Roadster...... and stated that it was impossible for his car to skid or loose traction (because of the wonderful Audi TC)....... he would NOT accept that such a thing as lift off oversteer was possible. He even tried to argue that it wouldn't be a problem if a passenger pulled the hand break while cornering....... CLASSIC

I had an A3 before my S2000 and lift off oversteer was ridiculously easy to get - unfortunately it was almost impossible to catch because of the numb steering.

If you like the Titty* then there's your alternative 6-cyl Paul. No need to waste all that money on a Boxster, you can look like a hairdresser for far less money and still have 6 cylinders.

First thing i do everytime i get in is switch the ESP off, Even asked Audi if it could defualt OFF instead of on..... NO

It almost killed me once. Pulling out of a petrol Station, BIG truck coming up the road, lot-o-traffic behind it. Pull out BOOT it so the truck does not have to slow at all.
The dam system cuts all power!!! if it was not for the quick thinking of the truck driver he would have driven over me!!!

Caught up with him and the next traffic lights and apologized and explained. Since then never have it on.

Given that Honda won't allow you to switch off the Airbags in our cars, if they did fit TC/ESP/DSTC (and all the other names various manufactures have called their various systems). Do you really think they'd allow you to turn it off

I've not had my S very long, and so far the only incident I've had is getting the tail exiting a roundabout in the wet (1st time out in the Wet with the S), caught it, and have driven a lot more conservatively in the wet since. Plan to go on a Don Palmer day early next year so I can try and correct some my bad driving that I've picked up from driving a front wheel drive cars up until the S.

Don't think the S needs TC, as frankyknuckles suggested I'd save your money and improve your driving, rather than have a system correct for my poor driving ability.

I do tend to worry about these nanny devices numptifying drivers.

They can stomp on the controls with impunity.

Put them back in a non-nanny vehicle, & watch them stuff it within 100 yds!
