Default Shipping HT to the US

Has anyone done it? I am currently selling my hardtop and have gotten a lot of interest overseas, mainly the US.

They also seem to pay a lot more for them than over here! :bonus:

Has anyone posted anything of this size over? Any ideas how?

Are there shipping companies that package as well? As I'd rather they did it, than me haha

Cheers,

Laurence

These things are huge, far too big for shipping in this country let alone to America.

If you are going to do it I would suggest making a crate the right size to send it as they are pretty easy to damage as I found out when I was going to have mine couriered in this country.

As part of my job, I deal with export shipments all over the world, so have a lot of contacts in the freight forwarding industry.

If you need any advice or help, just give us a shout

Thanks for the advice, to be fair I think i'll just stick to the UK for now, I shouldn't have any trouble shifting a black one! In the grand scheme im not even sure its worth sending across the pond in terms of hassle and risk for a bit of extra money!

I think the cost would be prohibitive unless you know anyone in the container business.
