On all the soft rubber seals.

It makes the biggest difference on the rubbers between the softtop and the windows to stop small leaks and wind noise.
But it's worth putting on the door seals, boot seals, bonnet seals and any other bit of rubber you can find on the car – although not the wheels.

One word of warning – wear gloves.
The split rain channels in the rubber seals on the roof have some quite sharp edges and it's easy to give yourself a papercut style of slice to you finger while applying the grease to the deep crevices.


It turns the rubber from dull hard stuff into soft shiny stuff.
The best description of it's purpose I've heard is that it's like moisturiser for the rubbers, it gets into the pores and stops it drying out and cracking.

my local dealer claim they have never heard of this grease and never heard of anyone needing it on their hard top - oh how they inspire me with confidence!!

does it stop wind noise or is this just to keep the rubbers last longer?

It makes the rubbers expand so would help with wind noise too yes
