shift gator
hi,
I just fitted a skunk2 knob to my S and have a question:
The gator sits low exposing the trunk of the gear lever, I think it looks ok, but have noted from pics other people have the gaiter close up to the gear knob (which I prefer), is there a retaining ring of some sort I am missing

The console will lift off working from the back forwards and then you can get a tie around the gaitor. the shift lever has a taper about 1cm below the start of the thread so you should be able to use that to make sure your cable tie and gaitor don't slip down.
