I received my Honda parts CD this morning and to my surprise the package contained 2 *copied* CD's with instructions on how to install including- "set the clock to 2001".

I installed the sofware and checked for copywrite information *none*

I checked a copy of the Service/Workshop manual for copywrite information and again it is not there.

So it doesn't look like there is any copywrite on either of these CD's

Now, this guy on Ebay is copying these and selling them for up to

I upgraded my PC to XP yesterday and now none of my CD writing software works

...but as I have SFA to do at work it shouldn't take me long to figure out where to find the updated drivers/software.

I am happy to run off a few copies of each of the CD's and send them out FOC. (I was kindly sent a copy of the Workshop Manual by another board member).

However I don't want to be sending out 100's of these, so here is what I sugest - If I send you CD copies and you are able to copy CD's yourself you make a copy (or two....) and send them on to some one else on the board....and the cycle continues.

If you are unable to copy and send out the CD's then I ask that you make a donation of ~
